Description:Join us Thursday, Aug. 7 at 1pm for the Classic Movie Matinee showing of Smokey and the Bandit starring Burt Reynolds and Jackie Gleason.

Title:Sewing with Barb
Date: 8/7/2025
Description:Join Barb Garnier, a Martha Pullen Licensed Sewing Instructor since 2003, for sewing and comraderie.

Bring your own projects to work on or use patterns provided by the instructor. Registration is required EACH MONTH and is limited. You must bring your own sewing machine and supplies. Register online by clicking "View Weblink" at the right or call the library.

A list of projects to choose from will be provided in July for the rest of 2025.

Join us for a captivating conversation and Q&A with Milwaukee’s own bestselling author of the thrilling Peter Ash series—Nick Petrie! Enjoy an appetizer and sweets buffet, various drinks, and a cash bar serving beer and wine.

Truck driver Bo "Bandit" Darville agrees to make a special delivery of contraband beer, driving from Texas to Georgia in 28 hours. When Bo picks up hitchhiker Carrie, he attracts the attention of Sheriff Buford T. Justice. Angry that Carrie will not marry his son, Justice embarks on a high-speed chase after Bandit. Starring Burt Reynolds, Sally Field and Jackie Gleason.

Based on a true story that follows seasoned deep-sea divers as they battle the raging elements to rescue their crew mate trapped hundreds of feet below the ocean’s surface. Also starring Simu Liu and Finn Cole.
