The Franklin Public Library Foundation is hosting its fourth annual Fall Literary Fundraiser: An Evening with Nick Petrie!

Join us for a captivating conversation and Q&A with Milwaukee’s own bestselling author of the thrilling Peter Ash series—Nick Petrie! Enjoy an appetizer and sweets buffet, various drinks, and a cash bar serving beer and wine.

All proceeds benefit the renovation and expansion of Franklin Public Library’s beloved Children’s Area. Thank you to our sponsors.

Classic Movie Matinee -- Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein
Join us Thursday, Oct. 9 at 1pm for the Classic Movie Matinee showing of Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein.

In this 1948 classic which combines big thrills with even bigger laughs, Count Dracula (Bela Lugosi), is partnering with femme fatale Dr. Sandra Mornay in order to find a brain to reactivate Frankenstein's monster, and they think they've found the ideal candidate in Wilbur Grey (Lou Costello). Also starring Bud Abbott, Lon Chaney, Jr., and the voice of Vincent Price (as the Invisible Man).
