An all-star ensemble cast is featured in this 1983 film that explores the complexities of adult life through the reunion of a group of college friends in their 30s, as they gather for the funeral of a friend who has died by suicide, prompting reflections on their past and present lives.

Early in his years as a superhero, Superman embarks on a personal quest to understand his Kryptonian heritage and how it relates to his upbringing as mild mannered Clark Kent. But things get complicated when ruthless industrialist Lex Luthor frames Superman for an international incident, and plans to put himself on top by bringing Superman down.

Franklin Public Library Foundation Holiday Bake Sale

Support the Franklin Public Library Foundation by purchasing some homemade holiday treats! Donations of baked goods for our sale would be appreciated and can be dropped off Thursday, December 11 by 8pm.

All proceeds from the baked sale will benefit the Franklin Public Library!
