Join us when historian Dr. Diana L. Ahmad discusses a chapter of US Navy history on Monday, Aug. 17 at 6:30pm. By 1900, the US took over control of two small islands in the Pacific Ocean, Guam and American Samoa. Captains Benjamin F. Tilley and Richard P. Leary ruled the islands with absolute authority. This classic romantic comedy from 1961 follows Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn), a quirky New York City socialite who charms wealthy men to fund her lifestyle while avoiding emotional attachments.
