Learn Even More with New Gale Courses

Gale Courses has just released another 83 courses onto their new optimized learning platform with topics ranging from “Photoshop for the Digital Photographer” to “Understanding the Cloud.” This newest updates brings the total number of courses released on Gale Course’s new platform (launched December 2016) to 236, for a grand total of 361 available courses.
Gale Courses offer patrons access to hundreds of instructor-led online courses, covering everything from health and wellness to creative writing, computer programming, GED test preparation, and much more. Whether someone is considering going back to school to pursue a degree or just interested in digital photography, the course catalog offers something for everyone.
All courses are free to Franklin Public Library card holders and can be accessed from any computer anywhere. Courses run for six weeks with new sessions beginning every month. The courses are entirely web-based and include lessons, quizzes, and assignments. A dedicated professional instructor coordinates every course by pacing learners, answering questions, giving feedback, and facilitating discussions.
To access Gale Courses, go to FranklinPublicLibrary.org, click on the “Databases” tab under “Resources,” and then click on the Gale Courses icon. From the Gale Courses website you can peruse the course catalog, enroll in classes, or access your classes.
