FPL Pop Culture Fandom Art Contest & Gallery Night

Submit your art for the FPL Pop Culture Fandom Art Contest!
Calling all artists ages 16 & up! Submit your original art pieces showing images from your favorite pop culture fandom! Whether they’re superheroes, wizards, anime, comics, or from a galaxy far, far away, we want to see them!
The Library is looking for original fan artwork inspired by an existing book, movie, TV show, video game, comic, anime, music or other media. Artwork should feature recognizable characters, settings, or themes from a fandom, and be created in your own unique artistic style. No original characters will be allowed. Characters must be from established, searchable or popularized pop culture fandom in media.
Entries must be submitted ready for display at the Franklin Public Library Information Desk between Aug. 24 and Sept. 25, 2026.

All entries submitted will go on display the evening Oct. 1 in the library's Fadrow Room for the FPL Pop Culture Fandom Art Contest Gallery Night. The public is invited for an exhibition of the hard work of our artists and cast their vote for the Gallery Night Favorite prize! Light refreshments will be served.
Prizes:
1st Place: $150 gift card for Blick Art
2nd Place: $100 gift card for Blick Art
3rd Place: $50 gift card for Blick Art
